I take a small number of short calls with founders who truly understand how critical GTM ahead of their raise is, and are raising or getting ready to. A completed intake is required before any call. No intake, no call.
Answer what applies. 'Not yet' and 'none' are fine answers where they are true.
We have many resources you can leverage for your success: upload your pitch for feedback and iteration, attend our events, or come to Pitch Kung Fu - maybe even Pitch Kung Fu in front of our capital network. Provided at no cost to you.
My time, experience and network are not. They go to founders ready to prove demand, do the work, and invest in getting it right. Too many founders, too much GTM, too much raising, so little time. 🌶️
Founders who are attending Pitch Kung Fu and have uploaded their two-minute video pitch get first priority on slots. Pitch Kung Fu shapes your understanding of GTM to GTF and fundraising fluency, and shows you the standard founders who exit operate at. It is not just feedback, it is for real: heavy capital is always in the room. Treat the upload as iteration - each pass sharpens the execution you have done behind each pitch and what you bring to your raise. Pitch Kung Fu runs weekly, Thursdays at 9 am Pacific: live sessions calendar.
One rule for the room itself: attending Pitch Kung Fu and uploading your video pitch (ideally multiple times) are required to be eligible to pitch, and pitching runs on a waitlist. We strive to bring matching investors for each pitch.
Our mission is to create more founders who go on to exit and become funders: founder funders. This is our North Star.
We are investors ourselves, with a substantial capital network, built slowly over decades. We build communities where founders and capital meet. The first job is helping founders build businesses the market actually wants. The ones who are ready get in front of real investors.
The work is GTM to GTF: substantially proving demand before a founder raises, while they become fundraising fluent.
Our ecosystem exists to help founders rig the game for themselves, instead of counting on cities, states or nations to do it for them. It has three layers:
I have been in the capital game for more than 20 years.
We see thousands of companies a year, and have for years. The last five included 500 founder/funder events, a four-month run through 35 venture ecosystem markets working with the venture builders on the ground in each one, and dozens of family-office gatherings around F1 and NASCAR races for the Mainsail family-office families.
I write about GTM that wins traction, builds businesses the market wants to buy from, and gets capital chasing them - and how to rig the game for your own venture: your readiness, your demand, your fundraising fluency. If you are serious about GTM to GTF, start here. You will find a gold mine - let the rigging begin…
